What would be the best advice you could give them to equip them for life? Here are a few of our favourites.<\/p>\n<p><!-- more --><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Have fun being active.<\/strong> Being online, eating sweets and fried food, watching TV and movies and playing video games are fun. But going outside and playing with friends, tossing a ball around, swimming, climbing something, challenging each other \u2026 that\u2019s even more fun. And it leads to a healthy life, healthy heart, more focus and an energetic mind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Think i<\/strong><em><strong>ndependently<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0You can create a world of limitless possibility. \u00a0<em>Question everything!<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Of course you should listen to conventional wisdom and advice that people give you, but ultimately you have to form <em>your own<\/em>\u00a0opinions. This is what leaders do, whether they are leading a company, a family, or their own lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Embrace change.<\/strong> Change is the one constant in life. Learn to let go and learn to embrace new opportunities. Don\u2019t get stuck in in your comfort zone, don\u2019t shut out what\u2019s new and uncomfortable. Learn to be embrace discomfort &#8211; you will grow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Spend less than you earn.<\/strong> Most people get a job and immediately spend their income on a car loan, high rent or buying possessions and eating out using credit cards. None of that is necessary. Don\u2019t spend it if you don\u2019t have it. Learn to go without, and be happy with less. Put away some of your income to grow with the power of compound earnings. Your future self will thank you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. <\/strong><strong>You are good enough.<\/strong> Most people are afraid to do things because they are afraid they\u2019re not good enough, afraid they\u2019ll fail. But you are good enough \u2014 learn that and you won\u2019t be afraid of new things, won\u2019t be afraid to fail, won\u2019t need the approval of others. You\u2019ll be pre-approved \u2014 by yourself. Do things that are right and that feel right to you. That is living with integrity.<\/p>\n<p>So over to you: what would you add to the list? What would you want to teach your own children?
