We require an Accountant for our office based in Houghton. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing financial reports. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. The Accountant will collaborate with various departments to support financial decision-making and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation.

Education Minimum:

• Accounting Diploma or
• B Compt. Degree/B Com

Experience Minimum:

• 3 - 7 Years

Ideal Education:

• Accounting Diploma or
• B Compt. Degree or
• B Com

Ideal Experience:

• 4-5 years Accounting experience;
• 3 years short-term insurance experience (preference)

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities;
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
• and Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards;
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting;
