To increase Indwe’s market share by selling appropriate risk solutions to new and existing clients within the Advisory Division, and to provide a rewarding service experience and appropriate risk solutions at all touch points.

Minimum requirements

Education:

  • Matric
  • Level 4 FETC Short-Term Insurance
  • Higher Certificate in Insurance
  • Post-matric qualification is an advantage (BComm Risk/Accounting, BBA)
  • Passed RE Qualification

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years short-term insurance experience, with 3 of the 7 years in a commercial account servicing and sales capacity
  • Experience working in a brokerage

1. GROW PORTFOLIO

  • Develop and implement a proactive sales plan according to agreed targets
  • Meet agreed new business targets
  • Provide after-sales service for new business
  • Identify and build relationships with partners
  • Write quality new business aligned to sales/marketing plan
  • Negotiate with insurers on premiums and quotations
  • Do up- and cross-selling on existing and new business

2. RETAIL AND MAINTAIN CLIENTS

  • Build relationships with clients through regular calls and informing them of the latest products

3. PERFORM ADMINISTRATION

  • Ensure data integrity on all policy systems
  • General correspondence and emails to clients according to company standards
  • Responsible for proactive and reactive underwriting
  • Adhere to underwriting criteria; FAIS requirements and set company standards
  • Manage incoming and outgoing emails according to set norms and standards
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to the manager
