  • Matric maths
  • Relevant diploma (degree is an advantage)


  • Experience working in a finance environment is an advantage

Key Performance Areas

1. SQL Database Administration

  • Ensure data integrity of all databases at all times
  • Administer the databases, by identifying and solving database errors where applicable and referring problem errors to management
  • Identify, articulate and solve infrastructure challenges
  • Extract, transform and load data to and from various systems using SQL
  • Develop SQL database integrity audits
  • Troubleshoot common client-server issues

2. Solutions

  • Work with external and internal customers to ensure software solutions are documented, tested and meet stated requirements
  • Based on customer needs and feedback, create code, troubleshoot, fix and verify data integrity and functionality
  • Code and manage custom technical processes, tools, and documentation
  • Estimate and deliver software solutions/projects within agreed time and budget
  • Research new and innovative BI capabilities and effectively apply them to enhance the company’s analytical abilities
  • Ability to use and learn new technology that will serve the business

3. Customer Service Excellence

  • Provide a rewarding service experience at all touch points
  • Ensure that customer queries are attended to and resolved expeditiously

4. Performed Administration

  • Ensure data integrity on the databases
  • General correspondence and e-mails to clients according to company standards
