The 1st of July 2016 was a remarkable day; it was the day that Indwe celebrated their 10-year anniversary.

We were privileged to listen to Mr Machiel Reyneke, Executive Director at African Rainbow Capital, who took us through Indwe Risk Service’s history from the Prestasi / Thebe days. It was amazing to see how far we have come in ten short years and how we have achieved our goals.

We were also very pleased to have been able to share this great day with our stakeholders and some of the great industry influencers including Santam, Mutual & Federal, Eskom Finance Company, Zurich, Black Business Council, Lionsure, FIA, Sanlam, Brolink, and more.

In his inspirational opening speech, Indwe CEO, Peter Olyott said, “While we celebrate our past, we also want to focus on where we are today and our future. We live in tumultuous times, socially, politically, regulatory, economically and technology wise. Our business is a microcosm of the country and world we live in; the country’s issues are our issues – the country’s future and potential is also ours. I am not sure whether we have ever seen a combination of these factors all occurring simultaneously, to the degree of rapidity and complexity in which they influence our businesses today and for the foreseeable future. 

As a business, we see these factors as inspirational and accept the challenges they bring. We will do our level best to continue to build and evolve our business to ensure a better offering to our clients, business partners, shareholders, and last but not least to those who work for this business.”
