Nadine Gordimer

Nadine Gordimer (20 November 1923 – 13 July 2014) was a South African writer, political activist and recipient of the 1991 Nobel Prize in Literature. She was recognized as a woman “who through her magnificent epic writing has been of very great benefit to humanity” – Alfred Nobel.

Helen Suzman

South African politician and anti-Apartheid activist. Helen Suzman spent 13 years as the lone parliamentary opposition to the Apartheid government. She was a dear friend to Nelson Mandela and never stopped fighting until Democracy was delivered to South Africa.

Khanyi Dhlomo

Khanyi Dhlomo (born December 17, 1974 in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal) is the founder and CEO of Ndalo Media (in partnership with Media24) and Ndalo Luxury Ventures. She was also the first black anchor for SABC.

Tryphosa Ramano

Tryphosa Ramano is the Chief Financial Officer of PPC. Despite additional Non-Executive directorship roles, Tryphosa finds time to pursue transformation in the financial services sector through her leadership of the African Woman Chartered Accountants (AWCA) society and the establishment of the Institute of Investment Excellence.

Maria Ramos

Maria Ramos is the Chief Executive Officer of Absa Group. Ramos has served as Group Chief Executive of Transnet Limited and served as Director-General of the National Treasury. She serves on numerous boards including the World Bank Chief Economist Advisory Panel. Ramos was rated as the world’s ninth Most Influential Businesswoman by Fortune Magazine.
