Indwe Risk Services recently announced the appointment of its new managing director, Peter Olyott. Having extensive senior management experience in the short term insurance industry, Olyott will lead Indwe into the next phase of the brokerage’s ongoing growth plan. He has been with the business for the past three years heading up the Advisory division, which includes Indwe’s network of 33 branches, and Specialist Risk.

Under Olyott’s leadership the divisions have enjoyed steady growth in new business and market share. Olyott will work closely with the management team to ensure a continued commitment to providing tailored insurance solutions for the brokerage’s policyholders.

Indwe Risk Services was recently ranked the third largest commercial lines broker in South Africa by international research institution Finaccord. The business was also the proud winner of the South African Service Award for Financial Services (Insurance).
